Hailed for her technical prowess and refined emotional depth, Sarah Chang is considered one of the foremost violinists of our time. Recognized as a child prodigy, her debut performance was with the New York Philharmonic at the age of 8. In the two decades since then, she has performed with the greatest orchestras, conductors, and accompanists around the world, remaining a high-profile soloist on the international circuit. 

Praised as a musician of “compelling artistry and power” by the Seattle Times, the gifted American pianist Julio Elizalde is one of the most sought-after and multi-faceted artists of his generation. He has performed in many of the major music centers throughout the United States, Europe, Asia, and Latin America to popular and critical acclaim.

Artist Bios

Sarah Chang

Sarah Chang is recognised as one of the world’s great violinists.  Since her debut with the New York Philharmonic at the age of 8 she has performed with the greatest orchestras, conductors and accompanists internationally in a career spanning more than two decades.  In 2012, she will have recorded exclusively for EMI Classics for 20 years.

Ms. Chang tours extensively throughout the year.  Highlights in 2010/11 in the UK and the US include appearances with the London Symphony Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic, National Symphony Orchestra (Washington), Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Pittsburgh and Detroit Symphony Orchestras. She will also perform in Norway, Romania, Austria, Canada, Poland and Denmark.  Ms. Chang appears regularly in the Far East and returns to Seoul for concerts with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and to Guangzhou to perform with the Symphony Orchestra as part of the Asian Games Opening Festival.

Julio Elizalde

Praised as a musician of "compelling artistry and power" by the Seattle Times, the gifted American pianist Julio Elizalde is one of the most sought-after and multi-faceted artists of his generation. He has performed in many of the major music centers throughout the United States, Europe, Asia, and Latin America to popular and critical acclaim. After three seasons as co-Artistic Director of the Olympic Music Festival near Seattle, Washington, the summer of 2015 marks Mr. Elizalde's debut season as Artistic Director of the 32-year-old arts organization.
