Barenaked Voices: Emory a Cappella and Concert Choir Unite for a Cause

March 15, 2016

ATLANTA-- The many voices of Emory University’s a cappella groups, including AHANA, Aural Pleasure, ChaiTunes, Dooley Noted, The Gathering, No Strings Attached, and Suri Emory Bollywood in collaboration with the Emory Concert Choir will join forces for an evening of vocal virtuosity in Barenaked Voices, the thirteenth annual Emory student a cappella celebration on Thursday, March 31st at 7 p.m. in the Emerson Concert Hall.

In the annual event that is a campus favorite, each group performs various selections from their own repertoires and join together for a rare showing of the breadth of Emory’s a cappella talent.  Proceeds from the concert will benefit two of Emory University’s Student Counseling Center programs: Active Minds at Emory, a student-run mental health advocacy group, and the Emory Helpline, a telephone counseling and referral service providing anonymous peer counseling and confidential support to members of the Emory community.

Tickets are $5.  Tickets are available from the Arts at Emory Box Office at 404-727-5050, in person, or online.
