Israeli Filmmaker Nitzan Gilady Screens Work at Emory University

ATLANTA—Emory’s department of Film and Media Studies in partnership with the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival and the Tam Institute for Jewish Studies present a screening series of work from Israeli filmmaker in residence, Nitzan Gilady, beginning March 15, 2017. One of Israel’s leading documentary filmmakers, Gilady is famous for directing and writing compelling, award-winning works about family relations, religion, and politics that have been screened at film festivals around the world. 

Screenings are Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. in White Hall and are free and open to the public. The filmmaker will be on hand to introduce the films and take part in a Q&A following each screening.  GIlady’s residence at Emory is supported by the Israel Institute, which is dedicated to enhancing the knowledge and study of modern Israel.
