MARTA
Atlanta's mass transit system is MARTA (Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority). MARTA operates a coordinated system of bus and train lines for access to all of Atlanta and the metro area. Exact change ($2) or breeze card/ticket are required. More information about MARTA.
The Emory campus is accessible from the Lindbergh MARTA station and the Edgewood/Candler Park station on the #6 Emory bus. Details on the #6 Emory Bus.
From Airport: Take any train northbound to the Lindbergh MARTA station, and take the #6-Emory bus to the Emory campus.
Walking Directions to Venues
Burlington Road Building
1804 North Decatur Road. Take Bus #6 to the corner of Clifton Road and North Decatur Road. Go east on North Decatur towards the Law School. You will pass the Law School and cross Burlington Road. The Burlington Road Building (a brick building) will be on your left.
Cannon Chapel
515 Kilgo Circle. Take Bus #6 to the corner of Dowman Drive and North Decatur Road. Walk west down North Decatur Road toward Emory Village, then turn right onto Dowman Drive, which is at the main Emory gate. Continue along Dowman Drive, past the Administration Building. Follow the sidewalk that runs between White Hall and the Administration Building. Walk onto the main quadrangle, and continue straight past the Pitts Theology Library. Cannon Chapel will be on the left, set back from the quad.
Goodrich C. White Hall
480 Kilgo Circle. Take Bus #6 to the corner of Dowman Drive and North Decatur Road. Walk west down North Decatur Road toward Emory Village, then turn right onto Dowman Drive, which is at the main Emory gate. Continue along Dowman Drive, past the Administration Building. White Hall will be on your right.
Glenn Auditorium
1652 North Decatur Road. Take Bus #6 to the corner of Dowman Drive and North Decatur Road. Walk east down North Decatur Road away from Emory Village. Glenn Memorial Auditorium will be on your left.
Mary Gray Munroe Theater
(Dobbs University Center, 3rd Floor), 605 Asbury Circle. Take Bus #6 to the intersection of Clifton Road and Haygood Drive/Asbury Drive. Walk down Asbury Circle and take your first left at the stop sign onto Means Drive. Once you pass Means and Longstreet Hall, the Dobbs University Center will be the next building on your right after Turman Hall.
Michael C. Carlos Museum
571 Kilgo Circle. Take Bus #6 to the corner of Dowman Drive and North Decatur Road. Walk west down North Decatur Road toward Emory Village, then turn right onto Dowman Drive, which is at the main Emory gate. Turn at the second right onto South Kilgo Circle, and the museum will be on your left.
Oxford Road Building
1390 Oxford Road. Take Bus #6 to the corner of Dowman Drive and North Decatur Road. Walk west down North Decatur Road toward Emory Village, then turn right onto Oxford Road, which is the road past the main Emory gate. The Oxford Road Building will be on your right.
Performing Arts Studio
1804 North Decatur Road. Take Bus #6 to the corner of Clifton Road and North Decatur Road. Go east on North Decatur towards the Law School. You will pass the Law School and cross Burlington Road. The Performing Arts Studio (a brick building with a steeple) will be on your left.
Robert W. Woodruff Library
540 Asbury Circle. Get off Bus #6 at the corner of Clifton Road and North Decatur Road. Walk north up Clifton Road toward Emory University Hospital. Turn right at the first light onto Fishburne Drive. Walk past the Goizueta Business School. Turn right at the first stop sign onto Asbury Circle. The entrance to the library will be on your left.
Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts
1700 North Decatur Road. Get off Bus #6 at the corner of Clifton Road and North Decatur Road. The Center is on the northwest corner.
Visual Arts Building and Gallery
700 Peavine Creek Dive. Take Bus #6 to the intersection of Clifton Road and Haygood Drive/Asbury Circle. Walk down Asbury Circle and veer right onto Eagle Row. Walk past the sorority lodges and turn right on Peavine Creek Drive. Continue downhill and then slightly uphill (Chappell Park baseball field will be on your left). As you reach the stone roadway gates, the visual arts facility is the copper and concrete structure on the right atop the hill.
